Sysadmin/Helpdesk Technician

Socialtext is looking for a smart and motivated person to work in our downtown Palo Alto office as a Linux Sysadmin / Internal Helpdesk Technician. Your job will be split about 50/50 between helping our sysadmin team with the infrastructure for our award-winning, web-based wiki collaboration tool and helping our employees use their desktops/laptops and our internal IT infrastructure (awards still pending).

The ideal candidate will be skilled both with Perl/Linux Sysadmin stuff, and supporting Windows/Mac software. Candidate must enjoy working with a diverse bunch of hard-working, fun-loving folks. This position is located at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters and a small amount of travel is possible (less than 1 week a year).
